In the beginning was the Word
and the Word was
Existence
and Existence had meaning.
Yet in becoming, Existence
withdrew into itself and there was
Absence.

II

In Existence was the Word
and the Word was
Light
and Light had meaning:
Love and Joy.
Yet in becoming, Light
withdrew into itself and there was
Darkness

III

In Light was the Word
and the Word was
Water
and Water had meaning:
Life for all plants and animals.
Yet in becoming, Water
withdrew into itself and there was
Land.

IV

On the Land was the Word
and the Word was
Man
and Man had meaning:
Sorrow and Death
Yet in becoming, Man
gave of himself and there was
Woman.

V

And Man and Woman joined and became One.
And Man and Woman had meaning:
Love and Joy and
Life and
Being One,
without
Absence, or
Darkness, or
Sorrow.
